Riverside
Welcome to our Riverside collection, living where we are we are lucky enough to have three main rivers running nearby, the Deben, the Orwell, and the Stour, predominantly we photograph on the Orwell, it has an interesting history and has long been used as a navigation into central Ipswich. As the tide recedes relics of the past shipping trade show themselves near to the busy modern day trade port of Felixstowe.

Spring on the Orwell, taken from an elevated position at Nacton Shores on the King Charles Coastal path, we look across the river Orwell as clouds drift across the sky.

A summer evening on the Orwell, taking time just to stand and stare as we look towards the Shotley peninsula, the sun has dipped below the cloud line but still casts its golden glow on the calm waters of the river.

Taken on the Northern shores of the river Orwell, the tree is clinging to the river bank and the river washes the tree at high tide but by the force of nature still it holds on.

On a calm sunny day the still water brings reflections as we look across the river to the marina and the trees beyond.
Yacht masts reach skywards whilst their reflection comes towards us across the water

Reaching out, down on Nacton Shores a fallen tree reaches to a mackerel sky, bleached by the sun, wind, and tide, this will surely become driftwood when the tides call.

A misty winters morning on the Orwell at Nacton Shores, the mist makes the world almost monochrome in appearance, looking towards Felixstowe the derelict tree reaches out towards the water.
