We love the sea, the sound of the waves, the cry of seagulls, and at the end of the day the taste and smell of fresh fish and chips. The sea makes incredible images possible, from stormy crashing waves, sunrise reflections, cloudy skies over the water, or surfing 'dudes' taming the swell.

The Aldeburgh Scallop, was created in 2003 and represents the two halves of a broken shell, fabricated from steel one half stands upright the other lies prone forming a kind of platform. Cut high into the sculpture are the words 'I hear those voices that will not be drowned' taken from the artists favourite Benjamin Britten opera. Created by Maggi Hambling it was presented as a gift from the artist for everyone to enjoy.

Tie the rowing boat up and take a swim in warm Turkish waters, a historic Lycian tomb sits in shallow waters near Kevoka Island in Antalya not far from the town of Myra. This picture from 2007 has a warm vintage feel, we can also produce this image in a Retro or Sepia finish.

Southwold looking east. the sun has yet to burst above the horizon leaving the Pier in silhouette and a smattering of cloud creeping in to the rising tide. The pier was built in 1900 and was rebuilt in the 1990s following years of neglect and storm damage, it projects 623 feet into the North Sea and is one of only two 20th century piers at one point having been damaged with only 60 foot left intact and completely rebuilt to its current length.

We are lucky enough to have friends living on the isle of Jersey so it has become a place we visit regularly at low tide looking out from St Helier sea water Lido the rocks hidden at high tide make an appearance completely changing the seascape. Jersey is a unique place with the island growing by up to 50% at low tide, the tide range is up to 12 metres allowing for causeways and relics to be exposed.
